Exodus 20:2 truly sets the tone for everything that follows I am the Lord your God who brought you out of the land of Egypt out of the house of slavery. It’s such a comforting reminder that our walk with God begins with His mercy not our merit. What a beautiful truth deliverance before duty relationship before responsibility. Ephesians 2:8-9 echoes this so well For by grace you have been saved through faith and that not of yourselves it is the gift of God not of works lest anyone should boast. It’s freeing to know that our obedience is not a way to earn His love but a grateful response to the love He has already shown us through Jesus. Thank you Brother Matthew for sharing such a timely reflection. It’s encouraging and humbling to remember that grace isn’t just the beginning of our journey it sustains us every step of the way.
