Merry Christmas and Wishing you the Best for 2026
Good morning from Waynesville.
Well, here we are—Christmas week. In some ways, it felt like it would never arrive, but in other ways, it came so quickly. I always look forward to the last two weeks of the year. It’s a time I typically slow down and spend as much time as I can at home with my family. Over the past 7-8 years, we’ve been able to bring our family here for the holidays, which is such a nice change after spending almost every Christmas and New Year’s traveling to Arkansas or South Dakota for over 25 years.
This year, we’ll all be with each other, except for our daughter Emilea, who has to stay in Florida for work. The weather will be unusually warm for this time of year (no White Christmas here in Ohio this year), and maybe I’ll get outside a little. But the best thing is to slow down, count my blessings, and prepare for what looks to be an exciting 2026. In fact, our daughter-in-law, Tamera, will deliver our first grandson in the middle of January! We are so excited!
I want to thank every follower of From Fear to Faith. I’ve received a lot of encouragement to keep doing this - and that’s the plan for next year. The number of subscribers has increased significantly, and as I travel or talk on the phone with people across the country, I hear many positive comments. Thank you again.
I’m going to take a break from blogging over the next two weeks and will be back on January 5. See you next year!
